EDUCATION QUALITY INDICATORS - THE EQAC SELECTION
Most countries have their own means to monitor higher education. However the increasing demand for private education and new pedagogical methodologies often turns government endeavors into an slow, bureaucratic and sometimes ineffective process when dealing with an evolving private sector on a global scale.
In such circumstances, educational institutions will voluntarily seek some differentiation through quality assessment and independent third party references such as those offered by the EQAC - Education Quality Accreditation Commission or these selected bodies.
The EQAC is not the only body offering educational quality audits and international accreditation. There are other similar bodies that offer memberships, recognition, references, etc... according to their own criteria and standards. Despite of such differences, these approaches lead to the same goal: to ensure the member educational institution's quality and integrity.
The EQAC selection is a set of bodies whose certification or membership we consider similar or equivalent to our accreditation. Member institutions from any of the following EQAC selected bodies may easily or even automatically qualify for the EQAC Accreditation Status.
The EQAC selection will also provide updated knowledge about best practices and quality assurance in education from other perspectives. Where an educational institution has obtained accreditation, recognition or membership by another reputable organization, the EQAC may accept such selected body criteria as a valid equivalent to the commission evaluation.

Membership into these organizations does exempt the member institution from complying with the EQAC Accreditation process to obtain the EQAC Accreditation.
